VEC is looking for an experienced, honest, detail oriented, focused and exceptional Personal/Executive Assistant who thinks ‘outside the box’. The individual must be highly organized as they will be responsible for both administrative work and personal assistant work. Previous experience in business administration a definite asset as a big part of this role is to assist the CEO.
The ideal candidate will have:
A post secondary education

Strong people & telephone skills
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
The ability to multi-task and wear many hats
Solid knowledge of computers and mac programs
Anticipate, prepare for and arrange all scheduling needs for individual including doctor appointments, quotes, meetings, etc
Personal calendar management on a daily basis. Anticipate and resolve any potential scheduling conflicts
Travel arrangements; booking and co-ordination
Preparing and editing documents
Run personal errands and light housekeeping
Effectively communicate with CAO and company staff on behalf of the CEO
Maintain highest standards of discretion, security, and confidentiality at all times.
Other administrative duties
This is a part time position, with flexibility and willingness to work additional hours as needed and upon request.
